SYMBOLIC TEXT DEVELOPERS
Refund Policy
At Symbolic Text Developers, we value our clients and aim to maintain transparent, professional relationships built on trust and clear communication.
We understand that business requirements may change, and there may be circumstances where a client needs to cancel a project or request a refund.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how we handle advance payments, cancellations, refunds, and service-related disputes.
The policy applies to our SEO, AEO/GEO, content writing, social media marketing, Google Ads, Meta Ads, website development, ecommerce marketing, email marketing, and other digital marketing services.
We encourage all clients to review this refund policy before placing an order or accepting a service proposal.
1. Order Confirmation & Project Commencement
A project is considered confirmed once the client has approved the agreed scope of work and we have received the applicable advance payment.
Work begins after receiving the required payment, project brief, and necessary information or access.
Once work has started, the project is considered active, and any cancellation or refund request will be assessed according to the conditions outlined below.
2. Advance Payment Policy
For one-time projects, we require a 60% advance payment before work begins. The remaining 40% is payable upon completion of the agreed project scope and before final handover, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
For ongoing monthly services, 100% advance payment is required at the beginning of each service month, unless an alternative billing arrangement has been agreed upon.
Advance payments allow us to allocate resources, schedule work, and begin delivering the agreed services.
Any third-party expenses, including advertising budgets, hosting, domain registration, paid software, plugins, or subscriptions, are billed separately unless expressly included in the proposal.
3. Cancellation Before Work Begins
Clients may request cancellation before work on a project has started.
Where no work has been performed and no nonrecoverable expenses have been incurred, the advance payment may be refunded.
Any payment processing charges or third-party costs already incurred may be deducted where permitted by applicable law and the agreed payment terms.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing so that we can review the project’s status and confirm the applicable refund.
4. Cancellation After Work Has Started
Once work has begun, advance payments are not automatically refundable.
If a client requests cancellation during an active project, we will review the work completed, time spent, resources allocated, and any nonrecoverable expenses incurred.
Fees for completed work and committed project expenses remain payable.
Where the advance payment exceeds the value of completed work and applicable expenses, any remaining eligible balance may be refunded.
If completed work and applicable expenses exceed the amount already paid, the client may be required to settle the outstanding balance according to the agreed contract.
Refund decisions will be based on the agreed scope of work, documented project progress, and applicable legal requirements.
5. Refunds for Ongoing Monthly Services
Our ongoing services, including SEO, social media management, paid advertising management, content marketing, and other monthly digital marketing services, are generally billed in advance.
Clients may request cancellation of ongoing services by providing written notice before the next billing cycle.
Where services have already been delivered or work has been performed during the current billing period, the corresponding fees are not refundable.
If a monthly service is canceled before work for that billing period begins, we will review any eligible refund after accounting for agreed nonrecoverable expenses.
Any alternative cancellation or refund arrangement specified in a signed service agreement will apply, subject to applicable law.
6. Website Development & One-Time Project Refunds
Website development, design, content writing, and other one-time projects involve planning, research, development, and allocation of resources.
If a project is canceled after work has started, fees for completed stages, approved deliverables, work performed, and committed expenses remain payable.
Refund eligibility will depend on the stage of completion and the terms of the approved proposal.
Where a project has been completed according to the agreed scope and the final deliverables are ready for handover, a refund will not ordinarily be available solely because the client changes their requirements or decides not to use the completed work.
Any concerns regarding incomplete or nonconforming deliverables should be reported so we can review them against the agreed project requirements.
7. Advertising Budgets & Third-Party Payments
Advertising budgets paid to Google, Meta, or other advertising platforms are separate from our management fees.
Symbolic Text Developers cannot guarantee refunds for advertising expenditure already charged or consumed by third-party platforms.
Refunds for unused advertising balances, subscriptions, hosting, domains, software licenses, or other external purchases are subject to the relevant provider’s policies.
We are not responsible for refund decisions made independently by third-party providers.
8. Service Quality Concerns & Disputes
We encourage clients to contact us promptly if they believe an agreed service has not been delivered correctly or according to the approved scope.
We will review the concern, relevant communications, project records, and agreed deliverables.
Where appropriate, we may offer corrections, completion of outstanding work, or another reasonable resolution.
If a refund is warranted, the amount will be determined based on the circumstances, work completed, agreed terms, and applicable law.
Dissatisfaction with marketing performance alone does not automatically establish refund eligibility where the agreed services have been delivered.
9. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund
Clients wishing to cancel a project or request a refund should contact Symbolic Text Developers through our official communication channels.
Please include the following information:
- Your name and business name.
- The service or project concerned.
- The relevant invoice or order details.

Approved refunds will be processed through an agreed payment method, subject to payment provider requirements and applicable processing timelines.
10. Changes to This Refund Policy
Symbolic Text Developers may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy to reflect changes in our services, business practices, or legal requirements.
